I'm helping a group of film students to develop a movie tribute to H.P. Lovecraft. We're having a little bit of trouble finding good ominous background and period music, and eschewing paying someone for an original score or the like, we're trying to find good period music that will support the atmosphere of some of the scenes. Some scenes are taking place in the 1880s-90s, some in the 1920s. I'm looking for Classical music, Jazz, whatever I can find. Could anyone recommend where to start looking?
