What are some good examples to use for the SAT Essay?

I need to brainstorm around 5-10 examples I can use on basically any given SAT prompt. The prompt is usually somewhere long the lines of progess in society, conformity, fighting for what you believe in, etc.

Can you guys help me think of some examples from history, or litterature that would be good to on almost any essay?
