I got my wife's ring at Diamond Brokers of Florida:

Or you could check out these other online sources:

www.WhiteFlash.com

www.GoodOldGold.com

www.ExcelDiamonds.com

www.BlueNile.com

Blue Nile's database is good, but they don't provide you with photos or analysis reports of the diamond. I wouldn't go with them for that reason.

Happy hunting.

Avoid the chain stores and go to a local jeweler they can either work with you to customize it or can show you things that are different from the big chains.

I had a ring designed at a local jeweler for $5000. Then randomly was at an outlet mall in Vegas and found almost the exact same thing. It was at Ultra Diamonds, six months ago. So far I have been very happy with the purchase.
I got my engagement ring band 1 carat and my fiancees band for around 3 thousand. His was 1 carat also.
It sounded weird at first, diamonds at an outlet mall but so far not one person has said anything negative when I tell them where I found it.
My ring is unique compared to other stores and everyone complements me on it all the time!
