I've a sophmore in highschool, first of all, so please don't tell me to read the latest Junie B Jones or some erotic fiction book that's going to scar the inside of my brain.
I read books about pretty much anything. I mostly stick to the "teen"/"young adult" section in Walden Books so anything in there would be fine, but I'd like to read more then just that. (For examples, The Time Traveler's Wife or My Sister's Keeper. Something that's not about snotty rich kids and sparkly vampire.)
Please, for the love of all that is not sparkly, do NOT tell me to read Twilight or any of the books that follow it. I've beat you to it by reading them long before it was popular and, frankly, I'm sick of hearing about the sparkly fairies in general.
But other vampire books are fabulous.
