What are some good books I can read that are like Harry Potter and Eragon?

I like fantasy books that are like Harry Potter, Eragon, Maximum Ride, Charlie Bone, etc.

The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. I also like Harry Potter and found Goodkind's series to be a great set of books for a maturing reader.

P.S. Twilight pales in comparison to Harry Potter so look up not down.

yes i love harry potter too and i was very sad actually to the point of depression when the series ended. haha. no but i really enjoy the twilight series and the ugllies series and the myserious benedict society. i hope this helps!
