Dune by Frank Herbert
It's a very interesting science fiction series. First book is the best though. The beginning's a little confusing but after a few pages you get at least some gist of the story. It's quite biological apart from being a fiction book and it's very enjoyable. I'm suggesting it because it is very logical and the way the book is written is excellent.
