What are some foods you would see at a buffet at a function?

fried and grilled chicken, barbecue, macaroni and cheese, corn, green beans or green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, rolls, cakes or cookies
 
From a catering place:
Sausage and peppers
Chicken or beef and broccoli
Eggplant parm
Sweet and sour pork
Fish of some sort
Plain veggies
Pasta with garlic and oil

There are also the cold dishes, like cold cuts, bagels, salads and heros.
