what are some cool & creative ways to paint your nails?

i was either thinking of doing my mails like m&m's, making them look like dice (like black and then dots to make it look like casino dice), or painting them white and making neon green stripes diagonally on top of the white.
 
i like the last idea most, the others are cute 2
and i've heard a tip b4 that when you're doing a manicure, you can put a piece of tape along the pink part of your nail, and it'll be easier to paint the tips without having to worry about having it messy looking
