What are some common places that the dome circuit tends to short out in a 1996 Toyota...

...Corolla, 1.8L? I replace the dome circuit fuse (20A) and it works for a bit, then pops (blows) and the circuit goes dead. I have after market speakers that went out when this started. I've replaced the speakers and the wires stay connected, but the fuse still blows. I've looked in the Haynes and Chilton books and cannot find a schematic to know what is on the circuit. Any ideas?
 
I think the radio linked to that circuit and radio is blowing the fuse with the issue of speakers. I would do a continuity test on the speakers cause you many have a wire grounded and not know it.
