I know the definition of art is vague and I don't play too many video games(so excuse my ignorance). But I mean it like this, you have the hollywood blockbusters that get pumped out for mainstream audiences and you have films and animations that would screen at art museums that are considered 'high art'. The nature of our society would mean the commercial games would be far more likely to be not only made in the first place since it's more profitable, but also more marketed and recognised. Now that I think about it, making these kinds of games doesn't seem profitable. But surely they exist. The closest thing I have come across is probably something like ICO(which I am yet to get my hands on). Does anyone have any suggestions?
