I would think that this is what reading is all about. It's how you create an entirely different world that you may live in, simply by opening up a book. It builds up your imagination and is one of the things I live for. Reading is a passion for some people and this can explain why. Imagining the characters and painting out your own mental images in you head makes the book come alive a become, in a way, your own.
