I am trying to attend an HBCU (Bethune-Cookman University) and it seems like they make it impossible for an out of state student to attend. They told me that I would owe about $12,500, not to mention that I begged them to tell me if I had a liabilty and if so, what it would be. They lost several of my documents and now they say that I can pay half and make payments throughout school (which im not able to do. No job security) but get this, I still haven't even recived my awards letter! All of this information is just estimates of around what it will be. Now, here is is practically July, starts in Aug and now Im screwed.
Please help me on what I can do. I've applied for several scholarships (none)and the grants through the school are strictly for Florida Residents. + I dont have strong enough credit for a private loan and no cosigner.
Thanks
