Im about to come into a little cash, and wanted to make my own carbon fibre body work and possibly other bits like the indicators etc etc for my GS... but my engine has 30k miles on the clock, and is very limited on upgrades to power up the engine.
Is there anything i can do to either up the power (without re-bore unless cheap?) and or add after market parts? im new to the bike mechanics, but know my way around taking one thing off and replacing it kind of thing... i.e. a new engine

just as an added note... i can get my hands on lots of cheap carbon fibre... and resins... all high quality (business closed) and as it stands the bike is worth maybe £500, so for £200 i could give it an injection of life! make it even lighter, engine tweaks, and a little personality too... then im not worried about the bike being "worth it" because i will get more than money from it...
