I am in my junior to senior summer and am in top physical condition. I and have a 3.0 GPA. i have also been a captain on numerous, high level, club hockey teams. I also participate in volunteer work at Camp Pendleton and have completed the devil pups program. My combined Math/Critical Reading SAT score is 990. I heard the minimum for the marine corps option in NROTC is 1000? will 10 points make a huge difference? And when should I apply? i am thinking of retaking my SAT to obtain a higher score, but I would have to wait until october... Is that too late to apply, considering the date to send the application is January 31st?
What are my chances of getting a NROTC scholarship? and when should I apply?
