My brother, who's in college, didn't receive any financial aid, (he went to an in-state school with really cheap tuition, and might I add hes pretty dumb) but I'm wondering if I might be able to get any aid or scholarships?
My parents combined make about 100k to 150k a year, but we really really don't have any college money (probably because we moved to the states like 6 years ago).
To sum up my grades and stuff:
I have ok but could do better grades, around a 3.75/ 4.0 unweighted gpa, 2000 SAT, Leadership position in French Club and school newspaper, extracurriculars: Majorettes, Art Club, Volunteer at church, National Honor Society,
Even if I don't qualify for need based aid, with my grades does that give me a pretty good shot at merit aid or scholarships?
Schools I'm considering: Emory, UNC, UVA, Umich, Tulane, Umaryland
