What are minimum dimensions of a ballroom studio?

Scoping houses, also considering that girlfriend (possible future fiancee) wants to teach ballroom. Wish to surprise her with some possible places that can have an area fixed up as a ballroom studio for teaching. But what are the minimum recommended dimensions of a possible at-home ballroom teaching studio that's even practical... ie: what floor length x width is necessary for a couple practicing a competition level routine, and how high does the ceiling need to be for that (with all the flipping, spinning and jumping, etc). Is a basement ceiling high enough or will they need airbags installed? - ha-ha you can tell I'm no ballroom dancer, but she's a competition winner & teacher... have fun answering - thanks.
