I went out w. this guy a while back who was absolutely wonderful. I met him at this formal event and we hit it off right away. I'm a sagittarius and i'm someone who has no trouble talking to people here and there but i do have a tendency to be shy. I couldn't believe how natural it felt to be having a conversation w. a stranger. Yes, I am a fire sign but I do have reservations now and then...my parents are both earth signs lol it felt like we were 2 little kids who were fast friends on the playground. I'm usually someone who gets freaked out easily/can tell if someone is hitting on me (hate it) but this guy...was very cool and did not give me the "creeper" impression at all. He was very shy yet well mannered and such a gentleman; carried himself with such "low-key confidence". (I thought, "finally! the man i've always wanted!" LOL) We had much in common...
so we go out... and it was not what I thought it would be. He was still a gentleman but he was much more "forced" and I was much more "quiet/shy". It was like a job interview :/ the first meeting was much more natural. I don't like "job interview dates" bc it feels more pressure to say the "right answer" rather than being yourself. His questions were straight up fr. "eharmony" or "is she wife material" fr freakin cosmo mag. I have no problem being who I am, answering truthfully but I don't want to reveal everything all at once, esp just having met him. It was like he was doing a background check of me also (but my gut was tellin me it was a defense mechanism bc he may have been hurt very badly). It was like, "let's see who she is, who she knows and if she has the potential to hurt me." Unfortunately, he was right. I happen to know his ex but we were never friends or were ever associated. We went to the same school years and years ago..and that's it and bc of that, I felt like it was over. my impression of him was that he seemed somewhat PESSIMISTIC, narrow-minded, judgmental, shy, gets scared easily, a gentleman, "serious" tastes,..I actually thought he was a capricorn at first but later found out he wasn't....
