I babysit my 2 year old niece during the week and I also have a 13 month old son. My niece constantly hits, kicks, bites, and pushes my son. I put her in time out and explain to her not to hit and make her apologize. That's how her parents discipline her also, but it doesn't work. I know she will eventually grow out of it, but I need some advice on others ways to teach her that doesn't involve spanking or hitting her of course. My son has picked up on her behavior and hits now also..serious answers please!
