The Samsung Intensity is coming out in about a week. It's a slider and I've had a chance to play with it...it's awesome. however, it will be the first of a line of Verizon standard phones that will require some kind of data package, but I think it's def. worth it.
Currently there is the motorola Rival (full qwert) and the samsung sway and LG trance (not qwerty which means t9 texting). Currently there are no amazing or awesome sliders with verizon, but the Intensity will fix that. Keep an eye out for it not this week, but next week.
