What are good materials to use in a GCSE art project?

I've started my GCSE art project. Im fine with what to draw, just not sure what materials to use. Ive already done a pencil sketch and a watercolour.

Im just looking for some ideas that are a little different, nothing obvious like different paints and pastels. But things like small beads and leaves..
any ideas?!?! helpp!!
