What are college fairs?

Different colleges will set up tables with information for you to take and admissions representatives will be on hand to ask questions. It's a lot of fun. You will see a great mix of casual and professional attire. I wore dress pants and a pretty sweater, khakis would have been fine too. It probably doesn't really matter but I wanted to make a good impression on the admissions representatives and stand out. I think it made a difference, they took me more seriously and I was able to hog their attention for questions. :P

The one question that I had for everybody, which the admissions representatives seemed to find refreshing, was "what question do people ask the most about your university?" It was a good way to find out what other people worry about/like about the school, and gave them a break from the typical drone of, "ARE YOUR DORMS COOL HOW ABOUT THE FOOD!?"
