i want to make a bike but im not sure what all the parts are can anyone help? also im 13 and it will be my first bike and im interested in BMX racing not freestyle. thanks

fyi it would be cheaper to buy one.
anyway,
you got the fork, cassette, seat, front/rear derailleur, chain, frame, brakes, handle bars, pedals, wheels and shifters.

Wow! I'm no pro but I think making your own bike will be a LOT of work! You're looking at about 1400$ for just any normal bike, more for good ones.
But parts? For a normal bike you need the frame, 2 wheels, some sort of front shock and back (back is much more complex.. you could always make a hardtail) front and rear derailers, shifters, brakes, the whole gear set, pedals, seatpost, seat, chain (for gears) handlebars........
and then the stuff to assemble it
