What are 3 of the issues Helga Crane faces while teaching in Nella Larsen's "Quicksand"?

For the novel "Quicksand", we have to write a small paper on the three issues that Helga Crane faces while teaching..... so im guessing through the whole book. I was thinking of formatting it :
1) Intro
2)paragraph for issue 1
3)para for 2
4) para for 3
5) conclusion

but i dont know the issues, any help is greatly appreciated
