What are 10 important words or phrases from the book Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry?

This is NOT homework for all of you haters out there. My parents want me to do this because they want proof that I read the book but I just can't decide which words or phrases are important enough! Also, I'm not sure if I should put "nigra" (no offense meant) in there because it was in the book and I think it shows just the behavior and culture back then, but it might be too offensive, even though it was in the book we read. Thank you!
