What american sports can I see on my vacation in the US?

I'm going to the US this summer and really want to see a baseball or football game, but I'm not sure if there will be anyone playing those in the summer time. I'll be in san francisco and LA from the 26. of june till the 1. of july before flying to Boston and staying there till the 5. of july.

It doesn't have be to major league or anything, college level could be great.
Hope someone can direct me to a game.
