so in texas there is this new law that a child must be in a booster seat until they are 8 years old.

I have no idea what to do now since it used to be 5 years old and we had my newborns car seat and my 5 year olds booster seat in the car together and we couldn't shut the door with the infant car seat in the middle seat just to get the door shut the booster seat would be at an angle sitting on the door not the seat.

i have a newborn baby my 5 year old and 6 year old.

how the hell am i going to do this with having to have a booster seat on both sides of the infant car seat. i can put my year old in the front seat and the baby and 5 year old on the sides in the back but the law says like before 12 and under should be in the back seat. and what do we do when me and my husband want to go somewhere together as a family since all 5 of us cant fit in the car together.

we don't have the funds to upgrade to a suv with three seats or a van.

we are screwed

Not sure if this would help, but when we had our third, we had to fit 3 car seats into our backseat. So we took a measuring tape, measured the other two in there and then how much space was left. Then went shopping with the measuring tape!! We had a few people tell us they wish they'd thought of that. But in your case, I think boosters are standard one size, so not much help. Sorry!
 
Ranting is good - it gets it out and allot of times lets us figure out options for ourselves. You did - you have a few options.
Get a van.
Struggle.
Walk,
or break the law.
 
It sounds like they are upping their standards so that they can catch more people and give them tickets. anouther way to get your money for the government. but I do know what your saying. I have 4 kids (one is 21 and one is 14 and then my 2 little girls in their boosters.although my 21 year old drives his own car but its really hard to fit my 3 kids my husband and myself into our car. its very cramped so we dont go as a family too often.
