When I was enlisted the study book was this one (new number and new contents however) that we had to study for promotion.
Now, with so many people waiting up to 8 months JUST to get a reservation for Air Force basic training it seems to me that new recruits should use that wait time effectively by studying this Professional Development Guide. This PDG is free and unclassified. Anyone can download it and save it to their computer for STUDY! Hint - Hint. Don't waste 8 months of waiting and doing nothing.

If you are currently on active duty in the Air Force is this still the study guide for the PFE (Promotion Fitness Exam) that we have to take to be promoted to SSgt,TSgt, MSgt, SMSgt, CMSgt?
Best wishes,
