What age did you son/daughter start to ride with you?

My daugher has been riding with me since 10. I bought her an 883 on graduation [new] and she still goes out for rides with "the old man". I wouldn't have it any other way. Keep that college money rolling."She keeps me going.

i got two and i started them @ 7, i used one of my old belts around their waist(no slack) and fed it through the back of mine so i didnt have to worry about the sqruim'n also if we were going down i hoped i could body surf some pavement and they could ride on my back.

My son started to ride with me at 3 years old, he's 9 now. I have to fix him because he sleep on travel. He love riding with me and when i take him from school. For now my daughter, 2 years old, is too afraid to go with her dad.

I have that harness, it works great. My daughter has been riding with me since five, at six she road about 5000km with me, some of that was 750km day trips. The harness keeps her secure when she falls asleep, no worries. As she likes to say : " isnt it time to go on another adventure on our harley?"

all three of my kids on or around there first B-day. put em on the saddle in front of me up the road and back. by the time the youngest had his first ride, his older brother and sister were telling me to go fast, while my wife shook her head no, no. now my two sons ride and my daughter wants her old man to get a HD. it was around 7 or 8 when they could go for real rides.

My oldest daughter started at age 6 and she has her own helmet, jacket and gloves. I keep it to around town about 15-20 minute rides. She loves it and rides every chance she gets. Youngest is 4.5 and wants to ride so I will give her a few rides around the neighborhood.

I do suggest getting a intercom set, my daughter can talk to me and it helps her ride at ease. We also set up a small pad between her and the back rest to keep her closer to me.
Be warned once you take them for their first ride they will will ask ever time you get out your helmet or they hear the vtwin rumble to get on with you.

Makes me a proud daddy to have my girls climb up on the bike.

Four or five. Son fell asleep on the dragon. Scared the chit out of me. Started feeling his helmet bouncing into my back. Big Cubs fan so made him sing Take me out to the ballgame over and over until we stopped for the day.
