What age can you be shipped to marine boot camp?

ok my b-day is on december and ill be 17 and ill be graduating in june 2009. i can enlist in the marine corps at 17 with parent consent but can i be sent to parris island at 17 or will i have to be in that delayed entry program and WAIT till im 18 to be sent to sent to parris island or will it depend on my shipping date?
 
17! make sure you get the job that YOU want. The marine corps is a very good choice.. those guys are pretty BA.
