When I was in the military (for a few years), I've never gotten sick a single time. And my lifestyle wasn't exactly healthy. It was very common to sleep only four hours daily for weeks at a go during training periods. And very often during different periods, showering was rare and we had to sleep in the 'field', so hygiene wasn't exactly great either.
But now that I've left the military and started studying again, I seem extremely prone to getting sick -- about twice a year. What do you think might be the cause of this?
(I'm not from the US military so our rations aren't laden with anti-biotics)
