Is there going to be a version like napster where only ".mp3" file extensions are transferred? I don't want to be downloading viruses or zip files.

I think ya can already choose the kinda file ya want share. Theres a feature to do this in config menu/shared files

Certian clients, (like gnotella) support searching for just one file type (for example MP3), but this is no gaurentee that you will not download a virus.
