what about a pontiac grand prix?

Im looking into purchasing a 2004 pontiac grand prix, i love the cars i just want to know if there are any troublesome things about that car before i take the plunge!
 
do some research about them on a car website such as internetauto.com, consumerreport.com, or car and driver.com see if there are any recalls or issues with this year if grand prix. My dad owns and drives a 04 grand prix with 120k miles on it and it is a solid daily driver car. The 3800 series III motor is almost bulletproof. Very good motor that if taken care of can run 250+k miles.
 
There was one recall on it, but odds are any prix you find, will have it fixed... but like it was said before go for a later model. 1997 through 2003 were the best made. You can not go wrong with a 3800 engine. You will rarely have a problem with it, unless you don't take care of it. If you want the extra power, the gtp is well worth it, believe me! good luck in your search... the right one is hard to come by, but when you find it, you wont be happier.
