Trying to get my 20GB hooked up to my Gaming Adapter (GA)

Ok I have tried everything I found here: http://forums.linksys.com/linksys/board/message?board.id=Game_Adapters&message.id=329

So far I have set up the GA with
IP: 192.168.1.250
SM: 255.255.255.0
GWY: 192.168.1.1

I also set up my PS3 the same way, manually setting the IP and when I do a test my Obtain IP address Suceeds! but the Internet Connection fails. I try to type 192.168.1.250 to check out the GA settings but I can't even see it. Can anyone help? I have a DSL modem, to a Router, to my GA, to the PS3. I have disabled WEP and I have the correct SSID set for my GA. I'm LOST!

It took my WGA54AG a while for it to get an actual solid wireless connection. I work with wireless networks all day an these seemed to be the most trouble some adapters I ever setup even though it seems very easy to setup. I seem to have general problems keeping a steady connection with my router. The odd thing is my wrouter is about 10 feet away an it still has trouble. I know for a fact that your SSID nor your WEP has anything to do with the problem.....seems like these adapters have connection problems from what I heard an already tested. Did you try restarting your router after configuring the adapter? Also make sure if your using the routers DHCP, you can see it getting an address through the DHCP table view in your router. If all else fails do a full reset of the adapter an start over again. Make sure yoou restart youor PS3 after everything is done.
