Wet passenger floorboard-2001 Buick Century?

I drive a 2001 Buick Century custom, and for about the past year, my son has been telling me that my passenger floorboard is damp every time we get in the car. I just figured that wet shoes were the culprit. But recently, I got in the car and reached down there to pick up a piece of paper, and everything was soaked. From what I can tell, it is contained to the front passenger floorboard. It doesn't look wet, but to the touch it is very damp. The car had been sitting a day when I noticed it, and It was damp before I started the engine. I'm not using my air conditioner this time of year and There had been no rain or snow for the past week. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? Thanks!
