Western Civilization to 1600 College Course?

Hello, I am in high school and I signed up to dual enroll in this class.
All I know is that it is history obviously..
But.. is it Greek/that area or more Europe focused.
Will someone tell me what I will be studying for the next semester!? haha thanks!
 
Well, you are going to study Western Civilization which we traditionally trace back through Europe and the Romans to the Greeks (even though, when you think about it, there's no connection between the Greeks and Engish for example, and its all pretty arbitrary).

I imagine you MIGHT start with Mesapotamia, but most likely you will focus on what history caused western civilization to end up like it was in 1600.

I bet you stop in 1600 (like many courses do) because of the renaisance.

Be prepared to learn a lot about Europe, mideavil Europe, early modern europe, etc.
