okay i recently had an argument with this white guy, more of a debate really and this guy actually believes that prior to colonization west africans used stone tools (what the fuck). am nigerian and i know for a fact that in nigeria every fucking ethnic group used metal tools( my ancestors the bantu used iron before europeans) they where even powerful city states in the northern nigeria that fought against berbers and arabs. what i want to know is where they any west african civillizations or cultures that used stone tools, also i would like to know about other west african civillizations and empires. i do know about the karnem-borno empire and the mali empire.
