and then get a fake "Certification of Live Birth" from Hawaiian government?

It sounds to me as if they were laying the groundwork to have their son illegally elected President as soon as he was born.
 
All you have to do is call the newspaper its not hard. I am sure they wanted their child to be an American. Thats why they went & got a certificate of live birth.

You trying to link the president thing with what his parents did is stupid.

no such motive would be required. any ordinary middle class folk might do the same in an effort to disguise the circumstances of their teen age daughter's giving birth.

Imagine -- it's 1961. sure Hawaii is a tolerant, multi-cultural place, but really!!?? the father isn't a local but from Africa. He's also a drunk and has multiple wives [as was common in Africa but illegal in America]., the child is technically born out of wedlock. And here you are -- white, middle class, and a banker? You'd try to hide that sort of thing in 1961, too.
