Were to download/install games in w5801

Hi

I know how to use the Sony Ericsson PC Suite software that comes with my cellphone (or at least I think so), but I just dont understand were are the games stored!

I want to install several *.jar games but like I said I dont know in which folder I must move them to, cause when opening the folders on "Filetransfer" mode i dont see that games i got installed, hence I dont know were to store new games or even how to install them.

The same goes for software and applications to use in my phone, were do I install these :(

Any ideas??
 
Whenever you use SE PC Suite when you plug your USB cable in set it to Phone Mode and transfer files that way.

Whenever you download a game using the Phone mode the game finishes downloading it asks you to store it in the memory stick under games or applications check there. If it went successfully it"ll be there.

Same thing goes for pics, themes, music, all goes to their folders.
 
I dont have the "games" and "applications" folders or at least they dont show up when opening the memory stick with the USB cable in my PC

... so I created a new folder named games and when browsing my phone files, the new folder was there and I just simply installed it... it asks you to install it in the "Games" or Applications" like you mentioned :D

I also renamed the new folder "MyGames" cause when creating the new games folder it appeared duplicated in my phone, so its good to know i can organize my files to my choice. ;)

Sony Ericsson are a bit picky like that. An easier way to do this in future is to navigate to the 'Other' folder on your memory stick or phone (which ever you prefer) on your pc - it's easier to do this from the 'My Computer' section to be honest. You then drag the installation file with the .jar extention into the 'other' folder. When all your files have been processed, boot the phone and navigate there through the 'file manager' section. You should see a list of the Java files. Click the one you want and it will prompt to install. This is the same process to follow for applications as well - as it prompts to install the file in either the 'games' or 'applications 'folders'. Happy gaming :) .
