So you don't have a question.....but just another rant, like the thousands of other people who think that posting anonymously from the internet will somehow make them feel better about themselves, or accomplish some good somewhere, somehow.
Ford has a car called Fiesta Econetic Hybrid Diesel that gets 51 mpg in town and 74 mpg on the road has been on the market for at least one year in England. You would think that that car would be in the United States by now. Ford company has lots of excusses as to why it can not come to the U S. One is that they have to build a 350 million dollar plant in Mexico to make the engines. Why not import the engines l ask? Did you know Ford engines are made in Germany. How do you think they get here?
I need help in understing why our government is not demanding that car be in the U S by now. That would be a very good start on us becoming energy independent.
