We're getting a Whole Foods!

I'm watching a TV show on Supermarkets and they were doing a segment on
Whole Foods. I just went to their Website and see that one will be coming
to Lynnwood. That's near my parent's house, I would likely only go there if
I go to visit them. I have never been to one. We have Central Market here
which as I understand it is pretty much the same as the one in Texas. Very
nice place to shop, but can be expensive. And we also have PCC Natural
Market. Small store and can be expensive but nice for organic and gluten
free fare. Am eager to see how Whole Foods compares!

No doubt you'll "hate" it... will probably give you hemorrhoids.

Yes. That's what I have heard. If I do buy anything, it would be specialty
foods. But it also looks like it is a good place to get prepared foods
which would come in handy for my parent's house. Daughter gets sick of
going out to eat all the time and my mom hates to cook.

You have the right idea. We go to one about every four months or so, to buy
things just not available at other markets. They do have some good buys
once in a while, very competitively priced. Good selection of cheeses,
oils, vinegars and the like.

You can also get good prices on produce in season, as well as some seafood
and meats. I tis not the place to do every day shopping for most of us, but
great for the specialties.

Thanks for telling you to make up your own mind?
You wouldn't have thought of that yourself?

If you ever get into art or crafts, I have a valuable tip.
Be creative!

We used to live in Lynnwood in '87 - it's the home of creepy park 'n
rides. :-) I recently went to a Whole Foods for the first time and
there's no doubt that it's a pretty neat shopping experience. Not enough
to make me squeal though. Guess I'm pretty jaded about food. It would
pretty much take a one gallon tank of high-pressure pancake batter to
get me that excited. Hmmmmm... pancakes. :-)

Whole Foods is pricey, but their fresh food quality is outstanding. I
enjoy their salad bar which also serves which has a lot of hot foods
on it.

Of course already prepped foods will be pricy anywhere... what kind of
moron buys their produce from a salad bar and expects it to be
competively priced? duh And I know you're a certifiable moron from
that unintelligible verbiage you posted.

In Rockville, MD we had a perfectly satisfactory Whole Foods in a strip
mall with the usual open parking lot where you could easily check for
spaces. Suddenly, they closed and moved into an office building with
indoor parking. You can't pick out open spaces in the dimly lit garage
and have to to zigzag up and down. Even if the actual store is somewhat
larger than the old one, I don't think I shall be patronizing it much.
It's a pity since their fish counter and salad bar were rather good.

What is that supposed to mean? Back side/front side?

And maybe you should use newer software. Something that hasn't gone
trough 30 revisions and a few product forks in the code since your
version.

I wouldn't say "fun and exciting". Interesting, maybe. But they
don't carry anything I can't get for less someplace else. At least
not the things I would buy, and I'm pretty versatile. Organic soap
and range-free chick peas are not on my want list.
