Were FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, JFK, LBJ, Nixon, Ford Carter... all Communists?

I mean... how fast would you be called a communist today if you said you wanted to have a top tax rate of 70 percent for the wealthy?

were we a communist nation in the 50s? HAHAHA... apparently the red scare was very real?

heck, they call Obama that now when he says he wants to raise it to 38 percent...

Nixon tried to get nationalized health care passed.

The reality is that movement conservatives only started with Reagan. Before that, politicians on both sides were actually working for the people. Reagan played on racism related to the Civil Rights movement and a handful of wedge isssues to win - while pursuing policy that made things worse off for most Americans.

It's no coincidence that salaries for 95% of Americans (the poorest 95%) have decreased steadily since 1980 - when Reagan entered office.

This is a radical political movement that has done everything it can to put money into the hands of a few - even at the loss for many. They have destroyed our middle class and now completely crippled our economy.

So, to answer the question....HELL NO....FDR wasn't a Communist and either were the people that followed him. He's the one thing that kept this country from becoming a Communist state. He built the middle class that made our economy the shining example around the world in the 50's and 60's.

But, look at the government we are going to need to get us out of this economic slump that Reaganomics & Bush's incompetence put us in.....it's going to be very Socialist.
 
None of those leaders were communists and neither is Obama. Communism is just a slogan those on the right like to say a lot.
