Anyone else seen it? What did you think?

It was good they didn't so some straight biopic type film, but I did think it there was a lot of stuff about Bronson they could have brought in but didn't.

I don't really get though why they gave him a cockney type accent when he's Welsh? It's like the director was trying to capitalise on the Essex type hardman image. I think Bronson is hard enough as it is, lol. I've never heard him talk for real though so maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree.

ETA - Just heard him speak on youtube and he does have an Essex type accent so I "recsind" my earlier statement...

I feel the same way. Will probably wait for it to appear on DVD. BTW, is the lead, Tom Hardy, the same guy who played the Julian Clary type villain in Star Trek : Nemesis?

Oh dear. I was thinking of going to see this, but that guy was such a pantomime villain in Nemesis, I'm not sure I could take him as the lead in a movie. (and yeah, I know the film was shite, but his acting wasn't up to much, either.)

Went and saw the film this afternoon and really enjoyed it. Tom Hardy as always is superb and deserves all the praise he's been getting.

The film isn't what I was expecting - considering some of they bad press its got. I was expecting far more violence and it to be much more of a biopic. But I think it was a more interesting film for that - having Hardy as Bronson talking directly to you on the stage draws you in.

My only real complaint is that at 1hr 20, its far too short. I was left wanting more

Yes - and they all left half way through. I guess it wasn't what they were expecting.

The film is quite stylish in its own way - a dark, mad combination of One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest and A Clockwork Orange.

It's not a great film, but it has its moments, and the overall approach is much more arty than you might expect.

And yes, Tom Hardy was previously in Star Trek: Nemesis, though you'd never know.
