I went to go see a Neuro Doc today after my EMG results which showed " Mild Radiculopathy"
The neuro did not say much except that i need to get on Nerve MeRAB and get back to theraphy.
I forgot to ask her exactly what the emg showed, but she told me when i ask about going back to worrk " if i would do more damage" She told me no the damage is perm already that the nerve damage is perm and all we can do now is treat the pain and get theraphy to help leg muscle get back there power again.
Is this possible for her to determine if damage is perm by just looking at the EGM report ?
She also said there is something missing , that there has to be more damage other then the L5 S1 Disc because my thigh pain will not come from that.
She alos noticed right away the size difference in my thigh and calf muscle that they were smaller then left leg. And when she measured the thigh was a little more then and 1 smaller in circumstance.
Her final thoughts were to let my Spinal Doc read the actual MRI films to see if he can loacted more damage if not she wants some other test done which she states is very painful.
Any thoughts ,i am am REALLY confused and want to get back to work. I was hopeful to return to work this week.
