There was a wait when we got there. I was with my Dad. They told us it would be about a 30 minute wait when we got there.

We watched everyone else be called and we waited and waited. Everyone else had been seated and we were still waiting, 15 more minutes. By this point we knew they had a table available.

My point is, this restaurant was in a really ritzy and rich neighborhood outside Cincinnati, Ohio. I just had on a college sweatshirt and my Dad had T-shirt and jeans on.

We kept looking at the hostesses like we were waiting for them to seat us, and they just gave us the "too bad, you're not good enough to eat here", look. So eventually we just got up and left.

Why did they do this?

The first question I have did some of the folks that went ahead have reservations?? Did u request non-smoking vs. smoking? They do call ahead seating, right? So, that may have contributed to ur wait time as well. Always check back with the hostess if u wait longer than what was told. It never hurts to check back!! If anything else, if that does'nt help.. Ask for the manager on duty and see if there's satisfaction that way. I work at the Outback steak and Oyster Bar in Branson, Mo. We are NOTaffiliated with the chain restaurant. We're family owned. We do pretty well the wait time estimates. You should come check us out!!

At times they accidentally lose your name or take someone before you .Normally it doesnt have anything to do with what you wear I would have walked up and asked.they write down the time they can double check for you..never just stand there...
ive hostessed and waited tables for yrs when i was younger.
