BRrrr Why Am I So Cold?

Guest
They say Wendy's food is fresh, never frozen. For this to be true, they would have frequent shipments into the restaurant. I never notice any trucks outside of Wendy's so I ask is it true and how do they maintain the food without freezing?
Is the food frozen before it arrives at Wendy's?

They dont deep-freeze it, but they do have to keep it cold.

Sounds like they got a better set up than Burger King. I used to work at Burger King, and its just the most freezer-burned you can imagine. It goes through the flame-broiler and it melts away, though.

Wendys is fresh, they just dont let it get all the way frozen (it just stays cold, not the kind of Humid Colds that turnn Beef and Chicken to Ice) and then lets the been flavor come through 'more' as a reslut. I was thinking Arbys, not I may want a Baconator.

Do you cook frozen burgers at home for the most part? No, you usually defrost in the fridge then you use it thawed correct?
They purchase in smaller amounts to fit the needs of daily use not stock pile like mcdonalds, therefore to answer your question, YES ,They do not freeze their hamburgers and they are fresh made to order.

The trucks bring in the shipment early in the morning or late at night, usually twice a week. Their burgers aren't frozen. They stay in the fridge.
