It doesn't appear that it will be called the vyper, but rather the Diavel. A couple pics from MCN link below.

I'm still bitter about them pulling out of wsbk to focus on shit like this, what's next a 3 wheel bike to rival the can am spyder, a scooter to rival the vespa. I love Ducati but this shit has to stop somewhere they are going to lose their glamor just to make a few extra dollars

I don't think they pulled out of WSBK to focus on the Diavel. I think they pulled out of WSBK because they know that they will have more trouble competing next year than they did this year since their equipment will be the same and many others will be developed further. The 1198 is at the end of its development and in 2012 the all new 1200 SBK will be out... that is what they are focusing on. I think they made the right choice. I'd rather see them reorganize next year and put out a SBK that can compete in 2012.

Though this last weekends performance showed the bike isn't totally dead.

Diavel may be the current ugliest, but this model had the honor until now. The 1986 Ducati Indiana. Built by Cagiva and probably sold in the single digits. I saw one of these while visiting Italy in '08. It looks much worse in person.
