Well.. Im 17 years old and im looking at a suzuki GSX R-600 as my first bike.?

Ive rode 4 wheelers a few small dirtbikes, but really nothing else i found one thats a perfect size for me (Im 5'5 and a 138 pounds) but im just not sure i know i can handle the bike but im somewhat afraid...

Get a ninja 250. They are less powerful and you will learn how to ride a bike correctly before stepping up to something more powerful. They have great resale so when you're ready to step it up, sell the 250 and get a 600

You really dont have to go as small as a 250. You can go with a Suzuki SV650 a great starter bike. Also consider a Ducati 750SS also GREAT for learning. Older Ninja ZX-6R (2000 body) or ZZR600 (2007 body). Yamaha FZ-6, Ducati monster 620 or 696. All these bikes are 80 HP or below, except for the zzr600 (100 hp).

if youre afraid then the bike is to big for you. go with a smaller bike like a 250r to start with and then move to a bigger bike in a year or two
