Well got my garage broken into

Pretty much pissed me off. Left home at 6:30am to only come back at 8:30am to find my garage had been broken into by the side door and the luckily non working mercedes was pretty much ransacked but nothing was taken.

Kinda pissed me off too that it took the police 5 hours to get to the house to take the report.

I am going to modify this so that there is clarity to some that need it.

I was very angry that two police officers within the span of 5 hours passed by my house and did not stop to take what took 20-25 minutes to do.

Both did the same time. They drove down my block, which is not a high crime area persay though the day before my incident, a house 9 houses from me had their mercedes stolen out of their garage, and they proceeded to sit in a private driveway and I guess either talked on the radio or something.

It angered me, and I expressed that anger towards the cop that eventually showed up but I did not blame her for it and I told her that I was only irritated because I was new to the area which had been discussed when I called the dispatcher on the phone.
 
Believe it or not, other people have problems, too, and need assistance from the police. Since your "robbery" had no real loss short of maybe a damaged door and a wrecked already junk car, it makes sense that you were put pretty low on the totem pole. If they had proken into your home and taken your valuables or something, they may have gotten to you faster, but, as I said, other people have problems, too and may be more serious than your problems.
 
Yeah I figured that was why. At the same time though it took literally 25 minutes to take my statement and fingerprint the car. So the fact that within 5 hours, 2 police cars passed by my house and yet didn't stop to take a 20-25 min statement was kinda absurb to my pysche at the time.
 
It'd be funnier if it was a buttplug or dildo..and you'd be all "car raper!" or something..or then when you'd drive and it'd drop out and everyone would see it and be all "omg you have a weird fetish" then you'd try to explain that some "bandit" put it there and everyone would be all "riiight..sure he did :rolleyes:"
 
I wouldn't say I bitched at them since I really didn't call them or anything. I just thought it was ridiculous that they couldn't stop since they were on my street twice.

Kinda like how you'd probably bitch if someone knocked you outta the lunch line.
 
Well that was the matter at hand. My sister stated that she felt nothing had been taken, but at the same time we weren't sure because we had never really bothered to check what was in the car in the first place.

The only reason they fingerprinted was a few houses down from mine another person had reported the day before that their mercedes was straight up stolen from the garage and they wanted more proof. Also there was some blood on the hood of my car but they couldn't use it.
