Golgo 13, one of the first assassins I ever got acquianted with is coming back! And not a moment too soon, anime neeRAB more manly men with guns. Anime Men Take your guns back from the Lolis. Seriously though this has been a manga since '68 and spawned two awesome old school anime movies plus some super campy LA movies. Glad to see him back in an anime series, I hope it lives up to the old movies that I am sentimentally attatched to!
 
Well in that case, he could have used a M2 Browning Machine Gun and be even more of a badass.

However, I don't think this anime takes place in 1969 since I'm sure they didn't have laptop computers back then and the Air Marshals back then didn't operate in the same capacity as they do now since Septeraber 11th.
 
Episode 02

I liked this one better than the first, but I guess the first episode is just an introduction to Golgo and his world. The artwork still feels very Americanized. I'm not saying whether it's a good thing or a bad thing; I'm just noting it.

Oh, and the story is pretty intriguing. Like I said in my previous post, I hope Golgo meets a few difficult adversaries.
 
lol, yeah wasn't that the first video game love scene? seems I saw a reward given to it or something on g4. Shadowy figures in a skyscraper. Wasn't too bad of a game if I remeraber right, I don't think I ever beat it though.

9 was a kinda predictable episode but still good to watch although at first i thought he was in there to kill the warden, cold cold Golgo at the end
 
I loved this second episode, Golgo was so calm under the detectives questioning and just sat there reading his paper Lol, that was one hell of a shot he took too, shame for the detective cats can't speak

^Oh yeah. I looked at the picture, and read the first paragraph about how it'll air next year in Japan. I didn't get to the second paragraph.
 
Lol at the start of episode 3 when it showed those 2 brothers i said "You 2 are gonna die" and naturally they did, Golgo is way to smart for them and its not just his knowledge with guns, he has a awesome knowledge of everything and knew exactly what to do in order to defeat them.
It was cool to see that dude who does his guns for him as well, Golgo must have some trust in him.
 
Golgo 13 is a true classic and this should be watched by all. Especially all the foolish souls watching only shounen cancer.

The studio handling it only has done 2 other projects, one being a horrible American cartoon. I'm hoping they can pull this off the right way. I'd be so much more comfortable with Madhouse at the head of this.
