My front tooth last month had a chip in it and had it bonded, it look good and was told it should last 7-10 years or more depending how i treat it. However last week it fell out and I was very down about the whole situation...got it renewed and it seems to be fine however I'm always fearing it may fall out and tired of always being careful of chewing which disturbs me while I eat!!!

oh well the main point of this is that this past week I have been having dreams that my tooth with the chip in it fell out again & every night it gets worse. My dream last night was that I had 4 or 5 full actual teeth fall out and I woke up scared. I read up that its meaning of anxiety or lose of power etc.. but could the dreams really be from when I recently had my bonded tooth fall out on me? because thats when the dreams began. I hate these dreams and I hate having to think of my bonded chip to fall out again .... UGH!

"Losing teeth" is a common dream ... and you're right, it's often given a broad meaning of "losing power" or "losing control".

However ... the meaning of any dream has to be interpreted according to what the symbol means to the dreamer. If you hadn't had a recent dental problem, most people would say that your dream of losing teeth was symbolic of "losing your chops" about a particular situation ... implying that it was the situation, rather than the actual loss of teeth that was more important.

But you recently DID have a problem with a tooth, and it is such that this tooth and its repair is constantly on your mind. So I think your situation is different. I'd guess that your dream of losing teeth is more literal ... your anxiety and worry about your tooth IN REAL LIFE is translating into an even worse dream scenario. (Yeah, our sleeping and subconscious brains are real drama queens!)

Want some dream advice? As you are falling asleep each night, repeat to yourself over and over, something like, "My teeth are strong" ... "My teeth are fine" ... stuff like that. Sounds kinda strange, but it works.

When you go to sleep anxious (even though you may not realize it), your mind turns that anxiety into a bad dream. If you make the effort to fall asleep thinking positive thoughts (especially about a situation that worries you), you can trick your brain into giving you good dreams instead.
